About the wine
The 275 hectare Simonsig Estate is located northwest of Stellenbosch, South Africa's famous first-class wine-growing region. Simonsig's wine tradition dates back to 1953 with wine pioneer Frans Malan. Today, the three sons Johan, François and Pieter run the winery.

Dense cherry red. Concentrated bouquet of cassis, blackberries and elderberries. Subtle vanilla and oak wood in the background. Characteristic Bordeaux blend Harmonious
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat, such as roast beef, game, lamb and grilled meats, but also with a distinctive fish dish (e.g. tuna with olives and potatoes).
