Tasting note
The wine shows all the nuances of this grape variety, with strength, body and structure, but also with an elegance and an unusual velvety. This is the result of long aging in the barrels.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif Mediterranean cuisine poultry saltwater fish veal vegetables.
Vinification
100% Alicante Bouschet from a 70-year-old vineyard in Serra de São Mamede. Blend of two harvests vinified in wine presses and aged in old Italian barrels. The 2018 matured for 32 months and the 2019 for 20 months. Bottled in July 2021. Only 2100 bottles were filled.
