About the wine

The Parrini family's winery is located in the Tuscan Maremma, near the town of Grosseto in southern Tuscany. The vineyards are located at an altitude of up to 380 meters above sea level and impress with their originality and Mediterranean charm. The continuous, cool sea breeze that blows through the vines of the nearby Mediterranean gives the wines exceptional depth and versatility, together with the very hot summer days. Local grapes such as Pugnitello, Sangiovese, Alicante brought from Spain in the 17th century and the international grape varieties common for Bordeaux blends, such as Merlot and Petit Verdot, grow on the 18 hectares of primarily loamy and calcareous soils.
