The winemaker from the Italian winery Serpaia di Endrizzi is absolutely proficient in his craft. Tasting note
Its ruby red color is intense and compact. The bouquet shows floral and fruity aromas, delicate notes of rose, violet, blackberry and cherry, with a finish of licorice, decorated with spicy notes. On the palate, it has an excellent structure, dense, enveloping and velvety, with a finely integrated tannin structure and an unexpectedly pleasant freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with dark meat dishes such as lamb, beef, venison and fried poultry.
Vinification
Aged at the heart of the Serpaia winery, the wine ages in large oak barrels for 8 months, then completes its maturation period of 36 months in lightly toasted barriques. After selecting the best barrels, the wine is bottled and then stored in the bottle for 8 months.
