Tasting note
Ca'del Bosco by Maurizio Zanella is a superlative ultra-modern winery. This in terms of architecture and technical infrastructure — the cellars with the Pantheon vault and the catacombs, laid deep in the ground, are not only impressive to the eye but are also ideally suited for extremely long storage in barrels, barriques and bottles because of the naturally constant temperature. The wines, as well as this Chardonnay, mature in barriques, which are made from French oak in our own cooperatives. It is considered one of the most sophisticated, exciting and even impressive Chardonnays in Italy, which is not afraid of comparison even with the greats of Burgundy.
