About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Villota masteres this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the fertile and beautiful landscape of the Upper Ebro. Tasting note
Rich ruby red — the nose shows fruity, floral, spicy and oak aging notes in ever new shades. The palate is also bursting with complexity and a variety of flavors, which are noticeable with every sip with new impressions. The wine is extremely balanced and has a great structure in terms of ripe tannins and perfectly adjusted acidity. The term “Selección” refers to the composition of the grapes used for this red wine, which all come from vines of at least 30 years old from specially selected locations.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with barbecues, pizzas and polenta.
Vinification
It was aged in high-quality French barrels from the Taransaud, Darnajou and Vicard tonnelleries.
