About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Clos d’Agon greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside. With the dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 — Seleccion Especial Catalunya DO, you can offer your guests something very special. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Cabernet Sauvignon with ribeye steak or Gruyère burger.

Tasting note
Cassis and ripe cherries on the nose, Mediterranean herbs and toasted wood are found in the complex bouquet. Shows a lot of strength on the palate, supported by fine acidity and velvety tannins. Brilliant now, but it has enormous storage potential.

Vinification
The Clos d'Agon Seleccion Especial offers a very intense taste experience! It has only been produced since 2012 and its assemblage varies depending on the vintage. The grapes come from the best plots on the estate. The aging takes place in 40% new French barriques for around 18 months.
