Secretary of State is a pure malted barley whiskey, pleasantly peaty, handmade in small batches with Athanor, Poli Distillerie's traditional Bain Marie distillery.

Tasting note
It is reminiscent of a bowl of roasted nuts, sultanas, plums, chocolate and smoked spices.
Vinification
After a long period of five years of aging in oak barrels, the product is aged for at least one year in Amarone barrels, which transfer some of the characteristic qualities of the famous Venetian wine to the distillate.
