About the wine
Do you already know the strong Cabernet Sauvignon Secco-Bertani Original Vintage Edition from the 2015 vintage? If not, it's time! With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Bertani masters this red wine in the beautiful and blooming countryside in Veneto. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Cabernet Sauvignon is excellent with ribeye steak or red meat.
Tasting note
Deep ruby with garnet reflections. Rich bouquet: blackberries and blackberries, cherries, plus spicy notes, black pepper and nutmeg. Soft and round on the palate, very juicy. Long aftertaste with lots of freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect for Verona's cuisine: pasta (tortellini, ravioli, etc.) and medium-weight main dishes, such as rabbit, partridge and roast pork, but also with vegetable stew.
Vinification
Aged for 18 months in the traditional 750 liter Veronese “Botticella” made from chestnut and cherry wood.
