About the wine
With the biting white wine 2016 — Schieferterrassen Riesling, nuances and accents are redefined. Picturesque landscapes of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the German winery Heymann-Löwenstein conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Riesling with Asian food or prawns.

Tasting note
The fragrance spectrum of petrol, nectarine and pineapple brilliantly flirts with your sense of smell. Next, fruity nuances of apple, apricot and lime will resolutely and consciously convince your taste buds. With a slender body and outstanding acidity, this white wine shows its masterly texture.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The white wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 10°-12°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 3-4 years after harvest. Flaschenpost team is recommended for mushrooms, Asian food and prawns.
Vinification
The vinification took place as follows: Hand picking of the grapes. Long fermentation of the must on the mash to obtain the full flavor concentration. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented at a low temperature. The expansion takes place in steel tanks.
