About the wine
It's only been back at the forefront for a few years, but that's no wonder, but thanks to the courageous Daniel Wagner. After taking over his parents' winery in the 1990s, he led the winery with great passion and unwavering confidence with its excellent locations (15 ha) to the top of Rheinhessen, where the sites at the gateway to Rheinhessen Switzerland were already there 100 years ago. Year after year, Daniel Wagner and his team work out the special features of the volcanic sites more precisely; the work in the vineyard (certified organic) is exemplary! Vibrant, mineral white wines, distinctive and large.

Tasting note
Schickeria - presents herself confidently loud and rigged up, everything very much and immediately there, ripe exotic fruit, including mango and fresh, tart pineapple, awake, partying, coming close, direct, lighter, tart, greener, completely boisterous. On the palate, now so young, with a very crazy mix of a wonderfully creamy fullness, and a joyful and tart freshness, ice cream candy, freaked out green-herb exotic at the end, people talk about wonderful length for a long time. Daniel Wagner's first year from this location, and a big hit. Gossip & Gorgeous! Great entertainment, a huge thing - it can lie down for a long time, but why not drink now when it's so much fun!

Vinification
Selective late harvest by hand. Aging in stainless steel tanks and traditional, old barrel (oak).
