About the wine
Springfield Estate is located on the banks of the Breede River in the heart of the Robertson valley surrounded by mountains. The Bruwer family, who fled France as Huguenots in 1688 for reasons of faith, is already running the winery in the fourth generation. Abrie Bruwer and his sister Jeanette form a dynamic and enthusiastic team!

Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, fish dishes, Asian dishes and asparagus.
Vinification
21 hours of maceration on the mash, followed by 21 days of alcoholic fermentation. The wine then remained on the yeast for 100 days and was stirred regularly. The wine was aged in steel tanks.
