Tasting note
Ried Zieregg is characterized by limestone soils, limestone marl, a unique microclimate and over 40-year-old vines. Incredibly mineral, structured and completely independent. Air reveals aromas that are reminiscent of lemon mint and pineapple, but also of thyme, gooseberries and camphor. Smoky minerality on the palate, salt blossoms and pickled lemons. Pulled unfiltered onto the bottle.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with starters such as fried prawns with Thai eggplants and wild asparagus, fish and seafood, to white meat and poultry, such as lemon-olive chicken in herbal broth.
