Tasting note
An inviting, lively Saumur mushroom. Very elegant, with great varietal character. Red and blueberry notes, fine spiciness with notes of undergrowth and fine herbs. Wonderfully juicy on the palate, with a nice texture and good support, invigorating fruit and freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with French country cuisine, such as pies or rillettes. But also with grilled sausages and marinated schnitzel and also with poultry and fine game dishes.
