Tasting note
From an area of around 1.1 ha, with over 40 years of vines. Aged for approx. 9 months in concrete eggs and used barriques. The nose features aromas of ripe cherries, dark berries and a hint of cassis, spiced with notes of leather, violet and some nougat. Juicy on the palate, sweetness with fine extract, present but velvety tannin structure and good freshness on the long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with French country cuisine, pies, rillettes, poultry and fine game dishes. It is recommended to decant this wine 1-2 hours before drinking.
