Tasting note
A Supertuscan that honors its place of origin; hilly Tuscany, known for its clay soil and rugged rocks, because the name “Sasso al Poggio” means “stone on the hill.” On the nose, notes of black cherries, licorice, forest soil, minerals and vanilla oak. Deep and rich on the palate with juicy fruit, well-integrated tannins and a complex, long-lasting finish.

Game and aged cheese.

12 months in oak barrels.
