Tasting note
The name Sassi Chiusi is derived from the characteristic rocky soil. The wine combines grapes from the three vineyards Bertinga, Adine and Vertine. It shows aromas of currants, sweet tobacco and cedarwood. Medium to full body, round and polished tannins and a tasty aftertaste.
Vinification
12 months in steel and cement tanks. The Merlot partly in barriques.
