About the wine
The fertile and blooming landscapes of Lombardy give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Nino Negri conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. With the delicious Sassella Valtellina Superiore DOCG, which was produced in 2014, you will certainly have a lot of fun.

Tasting note
Among the many qualities, three characteristics stand out in particular: on the one hand, the balance of delicious fruit notes (sweet cherry, berry jelly, elderberry) and the tart fruity notes (black tea) and spicy aromas; on the other hand, the ideal combination with the kitchen. Despite its typically strict character, this red wine from the Sassella growing zone also enchants with lots of charm and easy accessibility.

Goes well with salami, porcini, Bernese platter, pasta casserole
Vinification
Aged for two months in stainless steel tanks and then for 18 months in traditional, large oak barrels and for a further four months in the bottle
