About the wine
Quinta Sardonia was created from a joint project in the 90s by Frenchman Jérôme Bougnaud and renowned Dane Peter Sisseck. Thanks to the complexity of the calcareous soils, Quinta Sardonia has a unique personality, which is reflected in the expression of its “terroir.” The Quinta Sardonia winery is managed by oenologist Christian Rey according to strict biodynamic standards. Biodynamic viticulture means a balance between soil, climate, wine and environment.

Tasting note
A fruity, ruby-red cuvée whose strong bouquet of blackberry, cassis and gooseberry is complemented by cocoa notes and cherry aromas and is supplemented with some dried fruit notes on the palate. Fresh, elegantly balanced, with lively tannins and a soft, round body, this harmonious, long-lasting treat is presented.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with veal with light sauces.
Vinification
Information about vinification: Vinified in steel tanks, then aged for an average of 6 months in French barriques, steel tanks, foudres and small, egg-shaped concrete tanks.
