Tasting note
An elegant red wine with a ruby red color and a complex bouquet. The nose shows ripe red berries, such as strawberries and cherries, accompanied by fine floral notes and a touch of spices. Fresh and balanced on the palate, with velvety tannins and a pleasant minerality that is typical of the calcareous soils of the Bairrada region. The aftertaste is long and harmonious.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled lamb, game dishes, aged cheese or traditional Portuguese meat specialities.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully picked and destemmed by hand. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine ages in French oak barrels for 12 months to develop complexity and structure.
