About the wine
Intense, dense black red with purple reflections. Very dense and wonderfully complex on the nose, dominated by ripe black fruits, vanilla, wood notes, Christmas cookies and ripe currants. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied, with a nice, mature acidity. The tannins are beautifully incorporated. A complex, full-bodied wine of incredible length.

On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied, with a nice, mature acidity. The tannins are beautifully incorporated. A complex, full-bodied wine of incredible length. Characterful wine that precisely reflects the terroirs of Istria. Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) and Teran (20%) from Grand Cru St. Lucia mature for 18 months in oak barrels, 6 months in steel tanks and then again in the bottle for at least 24 months. There is a storage potential of 15 years.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with barbecues, game, stews and aged cheese.
Vinification
Selection of the best Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Teran grapes. Maceration 20 — 40 days. Ageing: Ageing for 18 months in new oak barrels, then aging for 6 months in stainless steel. Final aging in bottle.
