About the wine
With the first-class Sangiovese Le Focaie DOC, which was produced in 2016, you will definitely have a lot of fun. The winemaker from the Italian winery Rocca di Montemassi is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originated in the fertile and flourishing Tuscan countryside.

Tasting note
In the glass, intense ruby red with violet reflections. On the nose, you will soon notice notes of violet, lavender, tobacco and thyme. This is followed by fruity notes such as strawberry and raspberry. Balanced, soft and elegant on the palate with fine tannins and velvety structure.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with burgers, barbecues and pasta.
Vinification
The grapes for Le Focaie are harvested when fully ripe. After fermentation for 10 days and complete biological acid degradation, the wine matures in large oak barrels.
