Tasting note
The Illy family, the world-famous coffee retailers from Trieste, did Azienda Mastrojanni a few years ago Acquired and spared no expense since then to get out of this to create a true gem of an already famous winery and its top position among Montalcino's wineries strengthen. The body shows a wonderful abundance. It shows the unmistakable aromas of Cabernet Sauvignon with typical spicy notes. The San Pio appears tight, compact and well-balanced. The expansion 500 liter French oak barrels take 18 months.
