Tasting note
A gem from Burgenland. When several generations work together with lots of experience and passion, only good things can really come about. This Zweigelt Reserve from Salzl, our winery of the year, is the best proof. The Sacris seduces the nose with ripe cherry, dried plum, blackberry jam, the sunny note of orange zest and nuances of cinnamon and clove. 24 months in small oak barrels are expressed in fine roasted notes. On the palate, the full power of Zweigelt unfolds — powerful, dense, smooth and rich in finesse with wonderful fruit sweetness and elegant minerality.
