Tasting note
In the bouquet, lots of cassis, blackberries and balsamic notes, sweet vanilla, toffee and some mint, on the palate characterized by power and opulence, black-berry notes, earl grey and a hint of licorice, the tannins are integrated but still present, a lot of melting in the round finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty meat dishes such as Bistecca Fiorentina and aged cheese.
Vinification
Fermentation for 15 days in steel tanks, 16 months aging in new and used wooden barrels, 8 months storage in bottle.
