Tasting note
The Caccia al Piano 1868 estate is nestled in the beautiful countryside of Bolgheri near Castagneto Carducci. The combination of Mediterranean microclimate and clay/limestone soils offers the ideal terroir for excellent wines from this modern Toscana denomination. Delicious wild berry fruit and spice make Ruit Hora a sensual and generous treat.

Vinification
Die Sorten werden getrennt vinifiziert und ein Jahr lang in besten Barriques aus französischer Eiche ausgebaut. Dann folgt der Verschnitt der Rebsorten und wiederum eine Reifezeit von rund zwölf Monaten. Dieser Wein ist ein grosser, harmonischer Bolgheri mit viel dunkler Frucht und Kraft.
