Tasting note
Blend N°12 Ruby Port is a port wine that is specially designed for the bar scene and non-traditional port wine drinkers. The Touriga Nacional grapes are harvested by hand in the middle of the night to ensure maximum freshness. The grapes are then cold fermented to preserve their primary aromas and intensity. Unlike most Ruby Ports, Blend Nº12 was not stored in oak and is bottled young to maximize concentration and flavor. The port wine surprises with its freshness and presents notes of raspberry, strawberry, mountain herbs and pepper.
Culinary recommendation
The fruity character of this Ruby Port is best accompanied by a fine sparkling wine. Our tip: Pour a generous amount of ice into a glass, add 40ml of port, 60ml of dry sparkling wine and garnish with a strawberry and orange wedge.
Vinification
For more than 180 years, GRAHAM'S has been famous as a port wine producer for the exceptional quality and unmistakable character of its port wines. In 1882, the Symington family produced their first port wine, turned to the wine trade and has remained true to the tradition of GRAHAM'S to this day.
