About the wine
With the outstanding Sangiovese 2011 — Rubesco DOC, you can offer your guests something very special. Beautiful and fertile landscapes in Umbria give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Lungarotti conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
The distinctive bouquet of black pepper, spices and tobacco shows a complex aroma structure and plenty of pleasure potential. The striking nuances of red plum, strawberry and fig create their individual texture. Strong body and outstanding acidity result in the red wine, which shows a lot of character and class with dominant tannins in the mouth.

Goes well with rack of lamb in red wine sauce, braised sliced beef, aged cheese.

Information on vinification: Aged for 12 months in traditional oak barrels with a capacity of 50 hl, then aged for a further 12 months in the bottle
