About the wine
A powerful, deep dark red wine with intense fruit, spicy elegance and velvety structure. Strong in character, full-bodied and long.

Tasting note
On the nose, intense aromas of blackberry, black cherry and dark plum, accompanied by bitter chocolate, violets and a spicy, slightly earthy note. Dense and full-bodied on the palate, with ripe, grippy tannin, juicy fruit and well-integrated freshness. The texture is velvety, the finish is long and spicy with a touch of cocoa and herbs — a Lagrein with depth and elegance.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with braised beef, game dishes, grilled lamb, hearty pasta dishes, dumplings with mushrooms or hard alpine cheese. An excellent accompaniment to strong, aromatic cuisine.
