About the wine
With the delicious Rosso Toscana IGT Monte Antico from 2013, you will positively surprise your guests. Blooming and fertile Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Monte Antico conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity.

Tasting note
On the nose, aromas of leather, black cherries, licorice and plums develop. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with ripe red fruits, subtle notes of vanilla and violet, and a silky texture. The tannins are soft and well integrated, resulting in a harmonious and elegant overall impression.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with classic Italian dishes such as pasta with tomato sauce, risotto, grilled meat and aged hard cheese.
Vinification
Depending on the vintage, the wine ages for 12 to 24 months in a combination of used French barriques and Slavonian oak barrels, with around 10% of the barrels being new.
