About the wine
After more than twenty years of analysis and experimentation, Guidalberto, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, is now a wine with a clear temperament that interprets its terroir well. It is a younger style that strives for aromas and sweetness on the palate, characteristics that Merlot can offer even when aged for a relatively short period of time.

Tasting note
Intense ruby red with purple reflections. Straightforward, compact nose There are notes of dark berries, cassis and cherries, plums. Spicy floral notes are combined with this. You can see cloves, violets and subtle roasted notes. On the palate, the wine has lots of melting and silky tannins. The aftertaste is long, the juicy acidity is wonderful and makes you want more.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled entrecote or tagliorini with porcini mushrooms.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected. The subsequent mash fermentation and alcoholic fermentation take place in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks. The young wine ages for 15 months in American and French barriques (one third of them new), then in the bottle for a further three months.
