About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Salcheto masters this red wine in the blooming and fertile Tuscan countryside. With the distinctive Merlot 2014 — ROSSO di Montepulciano DOC, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Merlot with slightly spicy red meat or duck.
Tasting note
The distinctive aromas of black pepper, spices and tobacco express a lot of complexity with a very unique structure. Afterwards, the refreshing nuances of red plum, strawberry and fig reveal their own character. Strong body and outstanding acidity result in the red wine, which shows a lot of character and class with dominant tannins in the mouth.
