About the wine
With the special Rosso di Montalcino DOC from 2015, you will positively surprise your friends. Fertile and blooming landscapes of Tuscany give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Folonari conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity.
Tasting note
Fresh cherries, red berries and a subtle spice characterize the bouquet. Harmonious on the palate, with elegant tannins and a lively aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with antipasto, pasta with tomato sauce or grilled vegetables.
Vinification
The grapes for Rosso di Montalcino are harvested by hand. Fermentation is temperature-controlled in stainless steel tanks, followed by a short aging period in large wooden barrels.
