About the wine
This outstanding Sangiovese 2015 — Rosso di Montalcino DOC is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Conti Costanti masters this red wine in the blooming and fertile Tuscan countryside. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Sangiovese with pizza or lamb.

Tasting note
Sparkling ruby with garnet reflections. Open and elegant nose with the typical bouquet of black berries, plums, raisins and some undergrowth. This is accompanied by a subtle wood sweetness. Straightforward and robust on the palate. The tannins are present, fine-grained and of good quality. Spicy aromas, again blackberry, with well-integrated roasted aromas. Not a power pack, but rather an elegant, finesse charmer.
Culinary recommendation
Simply delicious with a plate of pasta or parmigiana di aubergine.
Vinification
The grapes from Brunello's “little brother” are fermented in stainless steel tanks after harvesting. The young wine is then aged for twelve months in 350-liter French oak barrels.
