About the wine
What Markus Schneider has achieved in recent years is hard to believe. In 1994, he started from scratch, so to speak. And today, 22 years later, he and his team process over 92 hectares, fill around 800,000 bottles a year and is described by the German trade press as The Phenomenon and The Favourite of the Young Scene.

Tasting note
A summery picture-book rosé with a fruity-fresh nose of ripe berries and floral notes. Juicy on the palate with a great balance between fruitiness and freshness.
Vinification
The name Saigner refers to careful production. After storing the grapes in the fermentation fermenter, a portion of the released fruit juice is removed using large sieves. This creates a completely natural concentration of the remaining grapes and makes it possible to completely dispense with pressing the berries.
