Tasting note
The local red wine grape Marzemino sets the tone here. Blended with Sangiovese and a little Cabernet Sauvignon, the result is a wine that deserves attention. It offers a rich bouquet of red fruits, macerated blueberries, berry jam and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is powerful and intense, pure and spicy with well-integrated acidity, as is typical of this growing region.
