About the wine
The winemaker from the French winery Château Clinet greets us with this wine, which he grows in the Bordeaux countryside. The provocative Merlot 2014 — Ronan is the missing puzzle piece on your wine rack. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this Merlot with poultry or slightly spicy red meat.

Tasting note
The Ronan by Clinet is bright ruby red. The nose is dominated by aromas of raspberries, black currants, sour cherries and some crushed pepper. On the palate, the wine is lively and smooth with concentrated fruit aromas, velvety tannins and a pleasant acidity. A lush and invigorating Bordeaux that is extremely balanced and enjoyable to drink even at a young age.

Vinification
The grapes for Ronan by Clinet come from various vineyards on the right bank and are picked by hand and classically vinified at Château Clinet. The aging takes place for 12 months in mainly used French barriques.
