About the wine
The Tommasi family, headquartered in Pedemonte in Veneto, also cultivates two other Italian wineries, in Tuscany the Azienda Poggio al Tufo in Maremma near Grosseto in southern Tuscany, named after the volcanic tuff soils. Sangiovese dominates Rompicollo, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon, in this smooth winey all-rounder/house wine.
