Tasting note
Dense ruby red. On the nose, a seductive bouquet of ripe black fruits, violets and fine herbal notes. Powerful and elegant on the palate, with silky tannins, lively acidity and a long, mineral finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with braised beef, lamb dishes, game or mature hard cheese.
Vinification
The grapes come from old vines and are harvested by hand. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
