Tasting note
Dark ruby red in the glass. On the nose, tempting aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberries and plums, accompanied by notes of spices, chocolate and a hint of vanilla. Full-bodied and structured on the palate, with velvety tannins and well-integrated acidity. The aftertaste is long and harmonious.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with grilled meat, lamb, game dishes or aged cheese. Also a treat with hearty stews or stews.
Vinification
Hand-picked grapes from selected plots in the Douro Valley. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with careful temperature control. Subsequent aging in French oak barrels for 12 months.
