Yes, the Hannes Reeh is a deer. Because he wants to press “wines without frills,” he refrains from using pure yeast and fining agents. Today, the down-to-earth wines have cult status among many wine fans.

Tasting note
From the 2015 vintage, Hannes produced this cuvée called Rohstoff Rot exclusively for the Swiss market. Expressive bouquet of red and blue berries, cherries and plum compote. Juicy, fruity, round with fine mocha nougat notes and a roasty-spicy touch of precious wood. Medium complexity, well-integrated tannins, a versatile accompaniment to food.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with various Austrian specialities, but also with a barbecue party or pizza.
