About the wine

A film producer, Reinhard Brundig, a winemaker, Marc Tempé, who realizes dream pictures, the other dreamy wines the common dream: a winery, 2002, in the south of France in Minervois in Languedoc: Nature first, biodynamic cultivation, old vineyards, excellent terroirs and higher altitudes at the foothills of La Montagne Noire. The success is great and to this day the domain has grown to 30 hectares, wines for heart and mind, favorite way, and since Brunnhilde Claux has been responsible for winemaking in 2013, harvesting earlier, completely dispensing with new wood, the wines have become fresher, finer, more elegant, pure pleasure, wines that accompany you through life, simply belong once you've tasted them, year after year and the best ones are simply terrific.

Tasting note
Gifted storyteller, very nice narrative flow, harmonious, nice introduction an engaging red fruit, takes you away, from wild anecdotes, animal notes, to fleeting exotic memories, such as green bananas, a whole life is spread out here, harmonious, lively, the narrator calm. On the palate, this beautiful course of history, beautiful moments, soft and light sweetness, fleshy fruit, also dark sides of sweet-spicy dark depth, licorice, presented with a lot of mildness and entertaining tension, pleasant mineral crackling, sweet-tart and finally increasingly dark, tart, fresh progress. Great narrator, rich expression and full of entertaining stories! The prestigious cuvée of the Domaine!
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Roc Suzadou goes perfectly with red meat, spicy dishes and spicy food.
Vinification
Very selective harvesting and sorting by hand, short extraction, whole grape fermentation with vineyard's own yeasts in concrete vessels, tamped with the feet and gently pressed, maturation in large oak barrels, minimal sulphurization before filling.
