About the wine
For Valentine's Day, we recommend the powerful Corvina 2017 — Ripasso Vapolicella DOC! The winemaker from the Italian winery Kyrenia is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the enchanting and blooming countryside of Veneto. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience if you offer this Corvina with roasts or recent types of cheese.

Tasting note
On the nose, lots of sweet and ripe red berry fruit paired with plum and cherry aromas. A lot of charm on the palate, very soft and again lots of dark fruit and notes of cedarwood and licorice. A wonderful ripasso with lots of elegance and harmony.
Culinary recommendation
A large, juicy piece of beef, veal, deer or lamb. Poultry fried whole from the oven. Cheese that is not too ripe. Pizza & pasta, of course.
Vinification
Aging for 24 months in barriques.
