About the wine

Tasting note
The Bordeaux from Rioja. Its extremely dense, dark red gives an idea that this wine was pressed rather reductively and aged briefly for Rioja conditions. Wonderfully complex, profound bouquet. Flower scent, cedarwood, leather, cassis, some old railroad with smoke and grease. Dense and rich, with nice grip and masculine but fine-grained tannin, good, juicy acidity, delicious extract, well balanced over everything.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Passt hervorragend zu Barbecue, Pizza und Polenta. Unsere Empfehlung: Der Rotwein schmeckt am besten bei leicht gekühlten 16°-18°C. Der Wein sollte in diesem Zeitraum genossen werden: Bis 5 Jahre.
Vinification
Fermentation in large oak barrels with the grape's own yeasts, contact with mash approx. 4 weeks. It is then aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels.
