About the wine
Bodegas Gómez Cruzado was founded in 1886 in Haro, in the old station district (Barrio de la Estación). The historic bodega is located between Muga y La Rioja Alta in the historic Barrio de la Estación. The two young winemakers David Gonzalez and Juan Antonio Leza have been running the traditional winery since 2008. They remain true to the founding principles of creating the best Rioja wines.

Tasting note
Brilliant, deep ruby red. The nose is very intense and complex. Aromas of ripe red and black berries, cherries, figs, as well as spicy notes. vanilla, chocolate and coffee. On the palate, it shows velvety tannins, a full-bodied body, as well as complex and complex aromas.

Vinification
3 days of cold maceration of the mash, followed by mash fermentation in steel tanks. Aging for 18 months, half in new and two-year French and American barriques.
