About the wine
With the fresh Tempranillo 2014 — Rioja Perfume de Sonsierra DOCa, you can offer your guests something very special. Picturesque and beautiful landscapes of the Upper Ebro give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Sonsierra conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This tempranillo is ideal to serve with lasagna or polenta.

Tasting note
This intense cherry-red wine impresses with strong aromas of licorice, blackberry, currant, caramel, mocha and a hint of mint. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, strong and luscious and offers a feast for the senses that will be remembered for a long time.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal with grilled meats, particularly beef or lamb dishes, as well as with aged cheese and stews.
Vinification
After manually harvesting and selecting the grapes, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine is then aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months.
