Tasting note
There are traditions that should definitely be preserved. One such is the reserve of Muga. A Rioja wine textbook where everything is just right! Cherry red in color, wonderful bouquet with typical notes of cedar, tobacco, fruit components, floral scents and candied fruits. Compact yet very harmonious wine with fine-grained, well-supporting tannin, slight spiciness, juicy, long-lasting fruit and a subtle smoky finish. A masterpiece!
Culinary recommendation
The wine should be enjoyed during this period: Now until 2026.
Vinification
Fermentation in large oak barrels with the grape's own yeasts. Ageing for 24 months in barriques from our own cooperastery. Then aged in bottle for a further 12 months.
