Tasting note
Aromas of small red, very ripe berries, skilfully combined with spicy notes derived from barrique aging (vanilla, cinnamon, fennel, licorice), followed by tertiary scents derived from bottle aging, such as leather and cigar box. Full-bodied and smoothly rounded, with a remarkably harmonious balance. A fantastic personality! Dense dark garnet red, with ruby reflections.
Culinary recommendation
Wine for special occasions, lamb paella, roasted or braised red meat, rack of lamb in the oven, Irish stew, goulash stroganoff, gently refined hard cheeses.
