About the wine
Bodegas Estraunza is located in Rioja Alavesa, the part of Rioja that lies on a high plateau in the Basque Country. Here on this high plateau, the grapes ripen a little slower. As a result, the fruit of the wines is better preserved and they do not become too high in alcohol. This is clearly reflected in the wines.

Vinification
Has been aged for at least 12 months in French and American oak. After moving to the bottle, the wine rested for another 12 months.
