About the wine
The origin of Hacienda El Ternero dates back to 1077, when it was part of the monastery of Santa María de Herrera. The winery in the heart of the hacienda has buildings from the 17th, 18th and 19th century, which in the past served as a monastery, barracks, school and hospital for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. In the middle is the chapel of Hacienda El Ternero, which is still open today and watches over the patron saint, the Virgen de la Pera.

Tasting note
Attractive purple color Aromas of violets, white flowers, cherries and a touch of vanilla and caramel. Fresh on the palate, harmonious aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with tortilla, migas, tapas, paella, grillsteak.

12 months in used French oak barrels.
